“Everything changes and moves”

The point is to keep seeing anew. The environment, art and ourselves. The only way to keep moving is to see anew.

Time and movement are related. Mankind has invented all manner of ways to indicate time; the timepiece, the pendulum, the sundial. All are connected to life on Earth. For we need time to guide us through our daily existence. But does time truly exist? James Brockway wrote the following poem on the matter:

Time is a feeling in the air
Time’s not really there
But man, as history shows
Lives by illusion. Time comes and goes.

“Time” is the subject of a great many poems. It is an intriguing phenomenon which we will never truly be able to grasp, although we live with it on a daily basis. Think how time, at times, appears to fly by, or instead seems to crawl by excruciatingly slowly. The perception defines the experience.
