Ghostly, with no structure, bones, or flesh, but persistently it sit’s there, waiting for
something else to drift by and trigger the next transformation…..Still residing
Deep within your mind.
You try to lure it out from hiding, with hopeless suggestions, stale ideas when then – a
mindless, passing thought becomes the trigger that lead the ghostly image to the light
and-
Conscious and unconscious meet and begin learning to walk hand in hand.

——— Such are the births of some works.

A shape seen, a shadow of something known or -un-Known ?, a pattern of cracks in the
asfalt, a combination of simple things observed in the space of a day -a year…..
Colliding, bouncing, attracting and repelling.
Pen finds paper
pen draws shapes
pen arranges shapes
pen changes, eliminates, invents, inverts, adds, subtracts and extracts shapes that both
exist
and
don’t

On some days, the pen may seek order, -beauty.
on other days, the pen seek the chaos living within.

The artist let the pen decide.

——— Such are the births of some works.

Topics swirling!
on paper
on TV
on Phones
Ever near,
Ever there.
Children abused
Political lying
Guns Save Lives !
More coal!!…………………..

You – an artist
Can’t be mute
——— Such are the births of some works.

January –

Returning to the US from December holidays family time in Denmark.
Project in studio awaits finishing, as deadline is approaching.
12-14 hr. studio days
Project: Commentary on recent topics – Emphasis isn’t on visual appeal
Probably won’t sell.
Event approached, -great acclaim – no sale – knew that.

March –

Beginning new project.
found interest in re-interpreting, using the vessel as my – vessel. Cast components,
multiple colors,
inter-fitting components, Puzzles! – Have always been intrigued with puzzles, both as
they fit together, but maybe even more when -they don’t !
One thing leads to another,
New discoveries, new horizons, fresh visuals, excitement.
– good days in the studio treading an unknown path, with “No Directions home”
Excitement lies in the possibilities and the faint inner visual of the dim and elusive
destination.
