The ideas seem to come all at once and I often struggle to get a proper sketch of the image in my mind
before it starts to lose detail. The actual making takes a long time and the designs change slowly as they
come closer to fruition, especially if I’m problem-solving a part of the process. I .....

The ideas seem to come all at once and I often struggle to get a proper sketch of the image in my mind
before it starts to lose detail. The actual making takes a long time and the designs change slowly as they
come closer to fruition, especially if I’m problem-solving a part of the process. I always keep a sketch
book within reach and work through ideas by making small sculptures with a kneaded eraser and small
sketches, working up to larger drawings and clay models to flesh out the details and angles in three
dimensions.

Throughout my life as an artist I have been piecing it together, gathering skills and knowledge to hone the
outlet of my inspiration. I strive to explore and experiment, changing my point of view and approach to
grow my voice and strengthen my convictions.
